Training Opportunity

Certified Recovery Specialist Program

ASPIN, in partnership with NAMI, has developed a training and certification program for Certified Recovery Specialists. This program represents a partnership that includes several key stakeholders. NAMI and The SECT Center are partnering on curriculum development and training.

Eligibility for training as a Certified Recovery Specialist is available to individuals who self-identify as having a mental health diagnosis, who are over the age of 18, who have completed a minimum of a high school or a GED program, and who are a resident of Indiana.

Support/Education Groups

Lawrenceburg NAMI Family Support Group

The Lawrenceburg NAMI Family Support Group meets monthly on the first Wednesday at CMHC’s offices at 401 West Eads Parkway, Suite 450, in the Millhouse Market retail area off U. S. 50 in Lawrenceburg. Meetings are from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This group is for family members of those with mental illness. Meetings are open, and newcomers are always welcome.

United Families

The purpose of United Families is to empower families through education and support to best cope with life’s challenges. The program offers families gatherings for parents of children with emotional and behavioral needs to provide peer support. For more information, please contact 812-537-7381

FIRE (Finding Improvement by Reaching Empowerment)
