Youth and Family Services
INcompass Healthcare offers a wide range of services to support infants, children, adolescents, young adults (ages 0–26), and their families. Care typically begins with an initial assessment, after which clinicians work with youth and families to identify the programs and services that best meet their needs. Our comprehensive approach includes outpatient mental health, substance use services, school-based support, intensive family services, wraparound programs, and transition-to-independence support. We also offer peer support through our FIRE program.
Services are tailored to each family and may include counseling, skill development, care coordination, crisis intervention, psychiatric care, and assistance with housing, education, or employment. Services are delivered in the office, home, school, or community, depending on the program and individual needs.
If you are looking to begin or restart outpatient behavioral health or substance use disorder services, please visit one of our Same Day Access locations during clinic hours to complete an initial assessment.
Types of Services Offered:
Outpatient Mental Health
Everyone experiences challenges from time to time, and having the right support can make a difference. Our outpatient mental health services help individuals manage life’s challenges and improve overall well-being. We offer personalized care through assessments, testing, evaluations, psychiatric services, and therapy options for individuals, families, and groups.
Recovery looks different for everyone, and we’re here to support each person’s unique journey. Our substance use services provide individualized treatment to address both substance use and any co-occurring mental health concerns. Most services are offered in our outpatient offices and can be integrated into other INcompass programs for a coordinated approach to care.
School-Based Services
Our school-based services help children overcome social, behavioral, and developmental challenges that may affect their success in school. Through in-classroom support, therapy, skill development, and behavioral health education, we work alongside students, families, and school staff to provide individualized care. Services also include case management, on-site collaboration, advocacy, and connections to integrated healthcare, including primary care, behavioral health, and medication management when needed.
Intensive Family Services (IFS)
IFS supports families facing multiple social, emotional, or behavioral challenges through comprehensive, individualized care. Services include assessment, care coordination, treatment planning, counseling (individual, family, and group), skill development, crisis intervention, and connections to housing, employment, and psychiatric support. IFS includes programs such as Intensive Family-Based (IFB), Children’s Mental Health Initiative (CMHI), Children’s Mental Health Wraparound (CMHW), Family Preservation, School-Based Services, FIRE, TIP, and Adolescent Substance Use Services.
Wraparound (WA) Services
Wraparound provides a comprehensive, youth- and family-driven approach for children experiencing serious mental health or behavioral challenges. Wraparound is typically available for youth ages 6–17 with multiple mental health diagnoses, a high level of need, and specific behavioral or caregiver-related challenges. Programs are designed to address barriers to success while coordinating care across education, behavioral health, and community supports to promote holistic, lasting outcomes.
Transition to Independence Process (TIP) Services
TIP supports youth ages 16–26 and their families as they prepare for adulthood. The program focuses on improving outcomes related to employment, education, living situations, personal skills, and community engagement, helping young adults build the tools and confidence they need for a successful transition to independence.
Finding Improvement by Reaching Empowerment (FIRE)
FIRE provides peer support, engagement, and advocacy for youth and young adults. Through connection with trained peers, participants gain guidance, encouragement, and real-world support as they work toward personal, educational, and career goals.
