Recovery services are provided by people with master’s degrees in counseling, social work or marriage
Most major insurances are accepted including Medicaid and Medicare. There are various programs available to people without insurance, including a sliding fee scale for people who meet certain eligibility.
Women who want help with addiction treatment, who are either pregnant or who have dependent children, can get priority assistance.

Unity House
Focus House
Overview
Unity House is dedicated to fostering recovery and improving the lives of our residents by providing the skills and support necessary for lasting change.
Unity House is a certified (Level 4) recovery residence with twelve beds for adults 18 and older. We support individuals facing challenges in maintaining community functioning due to co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorders, offering intensive, harm-reduction services tailored to each resident’s needs. Our four-month program includes four pathways: the first three take place in residence, and the fourth is an outpatient option. We utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy, building on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to enhance life skills and promote independence.
Goals
Our aim is to support individuals in achieving the highest quality of life possible upon completion of our program. We focus on improving medical stability, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, conflict resolution, and recovery leadership skills. Recovery is lifelong; we empower individuals to succeed early in their journey. We incorporate random drug screens to promote accountability and support all forms of addiction medicine.
Services include individual therapy, recovery coaching, case management, and group therapy, with support available 24/7. Our program emphasizes peer leadership, allowing residents to take on leadership roles as they progress.
- Resident-Driven Initiatives: Goals are collaboratively set to foster personal investment in recovery.
- Supporting Recovery Capital: We enhance resources that support recovery, including social connections and coping skills.
- “Badges” for Growth: Residents earn badges that symbolize their achievements throughout the program.
