Once a person has participated in assessment and are being seen for therapy, they can be referred to a psychiatric prescriber for an evaluation to determine if medication may be helpful. They will have regular appointments with the prescriber to maintain medication. Once a person either does not need medication any longer or has found medications that are effective, they often can seek that medication from their family doctor. MEDLINE # is 812-532-3428 for all medication questions and refill requests – due to staffing schedules, it sometimes takes a couple days to handle requests for refills.
